👋 Hi, I'm Suyog.

I build. I tell stories. And I ship(ish).

If you ask me, I do the building part better than most marketers and the story part better than most engineers. Sometimes, people say it's a weird combo. But I've essentially stopped arguing.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway

"What do you actually do at work?"

Over the years, I've done a lot of things. A lot.

I've written copy. For product, landing pages, ads, socials; basically for everything-brand.

I've run outreach. I've built content pipelines that work on autopilot. I've overhauled CRMs that nobody wanted to touch. Created dashboards while staying up until 3 in the morning to figure out why the funnel is broken.

I've built growth systems from scratch. Written strategies for products, scraped them, rewrote them and built the infra to run them. And, I've also managed teams across time zones, across functions, and across every little stage of chaos that you imagine happens in a startup (and not a startup).

a concerning amount, actually 👀

FYI: GHL is worse than Salesforce.

Trust me (or don't) but I still don't know what was broken.

That's a lot, indeed

But that's what I enjoy doing

I don't like working in a silo. I can't disappear into a screen for hours before deciding what I'm doing next. And I am nosy enough that I have to know what's happening across everything.

That's why I work in the intersection of it all.

The goal is always to build something that solves product problems, give the brand a taste and have fun while we're at it.

taste

(n.)

The ability to evaluate quality.

On taste →   Taste is eating Silicon Valley →

While that's mildly awesome

Other things that make me, me

I read a little. I maintain a 'to-read' list more.

I watch films. Mostly slow ones that make your tears go brrr.

I take pictures. I walk a lot. And I run.

I write as well. On my notes and my diary, mostly.

  • Drive My Car (2021)
  • Minari (2020)
  • Masaan (2015)
  • The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
  • One Piece
And I occasionally publish

On Substack.

Stories, opinions, work-adjacent things, observations I simply couldn't let go of. It's a mix of everything that I am.

You can expect it to be worth reading, but don't expect me to be consistent (please).

If this sounded like someone interesting to you

Let's talk

About product that you're building. That ceiling you hit trying to scale. A story you're not sure how to tell.

Honestly, we can talk about anything that's on your mind.

Say hi
